Dr. Ginsberg is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 30 years of clinical experience. Before joining PPAD, he was Director of the Psychological Services Center  and Clinical Professor ofPsychology at Syracuse University in Syracuse New York . In his capacity as Director, Dr. Ginsberg was responsible for the ongoing administration and supervision of this clinic which trained advanced graduate students in clinical psychology in the techniques and practice of counseling and psychotherapy.

Prior to that, Dr. Ginsberg was the Chief Psychologist and Director of Clinical Psychology training at Hutchings Psychiatric  Center an inpatient and outpatient State Psychiatric Facility in Syracuse New York. He was also a member of Psychological Health Care in Syracuse, a group private practice in psychotherapy in which he saw both couples and individuals for counseling and psychotherapy.

Dr. Ginsberg received his Bachelors Degree in Psychology from City College in New York City and his Masters and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Southern Illinois University- Carbondale, Illinois. He completed internships at the Student Counseling Services at  Iowa State University and at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

​Dr. Ginsberg works with adolescents and adults with a variety of psychological  issues, including mood disorders, relationship and marital issues, anxiety and stress disorders, and adjustment reactions. He also holds a strong interest in training and supervision. His treatment approach is interpersonal/relational, and psychodynamic.
