Robin is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Maryville University in May 2020.  Robin also has a Master’s in Nursing Education from East Carolina University. Robin has practiced as a mental health nurse since 1994 in various inpatient and outpatient settings and as a mobile crisis clinician. 

Robin focuses on medication management, cognitive behavioral therapy, and brief counseling for kids and teenagers with mental health issues, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and oppositional defiant disorder. Robin is an advocate for kids and their families as they maneuver through the mental health system. Robin also focuses on medication management and treatment of women’s issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. 

Robin is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and is a Member-at-Large on the American Psychiatric Nurses Association North Carolina Chapter. Robin is active for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, including past president of the Granville, Franklin, Vance, and Warren Chapter and as a Guardian ad Litem for Judicial District 9, where she was the voice of children having to maneuver the court system.
